Yoga Instructor 

I came to yoga in 2010 after suffering a  running injury. I had heard yoga was a safe form of exercise and was struggling to find well-being and balance without my usual physical outlet. What I discovered through yoga was a world of physical, emotional and spiritual healing. It is my joy to help others discover this practice. I believe every person can start to heal their unique physical or emotional pain, and can build strength and resilience through life’s trials, by embarking on a regular yoga practice.

What is your favorite part of a teaching a class? 

Coming into the studio, laying down all the candles, turning on the music and awaiting my students’ arrival.

When we see a person having difficulty in life, wish them compassion.

When we see a person having great virtue, wish them joy.

When we see a person impure and evil, wish them good will.

What should we expect in one of your classes?

Expect a slow flow, with soothing music and hands-on touch (although you always have the option of declining physical assists)

Hike the Appalachian trail
